520 rear sprocket for BMW S 1000 RR serial rim (520 racing chain conversion). Light racing rear sprocket from very strong aluminium alloy (aircraft alloy).

Fits for:

- BMW S 1000 RR 2012 - 2018

(520 chain conversion / 1 tooth more than OE / serial)

- BMW S 1000 RR 2009 - 2011

(520 chain conversion / 2 teeth more than OE / serial)

Serial bikes are often equiped with a very long gear transmission due to noise or exhaust regulations. In most cases these transmissions don´t fit best for racetracks. Often pinions with 1-2 teeth less and rear sprockets with 1-3 teeth more are used. In some cases are longer chain (2 links) is needed. Only on racetracks with very high speed (e.g. Isle of Man, Hockenheim GP) and very narrow tracks (e.g. Fischereihafen in Bremerhaven) such an conversion will not fit. We suggest to use experiences also from other riders to find the right general racetrack transmission for your bike.

To get a better performance often at the same occasion a conversion to 520 race chain is choosen. Such a conversion then often is the basis for an individual adjustment for every racetrack, especially for races.
